Maui is a coppery gold-toned satin bronzer with golden microshimmer.

I got this bronzer as a part of e.l.f.'s Summer Siren collection. I'm perfectly happy with my beloved Bahama Mama and had no intention of using this bronzer primarily, I mainly bought it because of the heavy discount. Nevertheless I decided to try it one day, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had expected to hate shimmery bronzers since they aren't natural-looking, but this is a wonderful exception.

The shimmer in this is simply that: shimmer, not glitter. Because it is just shimmery it really does look natural and gives you a marvelous sunkissed glow. Just a quick swipe of this down your nose will make you look like the poster child of summer. I could see this used as a highlighter as well, for those of us who have darker skintones.

It blends easily and is buildable, from extremely sheer to quite opaque. It lasts pretty much all day, doesn't smudge or run. I love powder products for how well they stick, and how they never run or get too splotchy.

CONCLUSION

I still love matte bronzers, but if you are a shimmer junkie you will love this bronzer. In the middle of summer I cannot think of a better bronzer. And because it's an e.l.f. product, you just know that it's cheap.
