Daffodil is a bright, sunny egg yolk yellow.
Yeah yeah, I'm a softie. I ordered from Impulse again. But I swear, this is the last time.
Like the other lipsticks I've reviewed from Impulse, the formula is a bit dry at first but once it warms up it will go on very smoothly and creamily. It has an almost chalk-like taste to it, but it isn't incredibly noticeable.
The formula is pretty darn opaque, though if you have non-yellow lips some color will show through. Unfortunately the cosmetics market isn't teeming with yellow lipliners, so you kind of just need to deal with it... or don't buy the lipstick. There are other yellow lipsticks out there, though I've only tried one other: NYX's Macaron Lippie in Citron. I might do a comparison post in the future.
It lasts about as long as you'd expect a neon yellow lipstick to last. Oil cuts through this thing like, well, butter and so greasy foods like pizza will just melt this stuff right off your lips. Since it is matte, and therefore a bit dry (though it doesn't feel drying), it doesn't leave much a stain -- if any at all -- on the cup you drink from while wearing this.

CONCLUSION
It's so sad that Impulse is a bit of a sketchy company, because I really like their lipsticks. I'm on the search for some dupes, I'm thinking maybe My Beauty Addiction, but I haven't found any yet. If you don't mind the possibility of not getting exactly what you want, go ahead and buy from Impulse. If you'd rather not support a company like them, sit tight and I'll probably find something better.

have you tried lime crime? I'm pretty sure they have yellow lipstick
