REVIEW + SWATCHES
Description from Myprettyzombie.com:
So these colors are named entirely after random names picked by band and song name generators. They all had this nice death-y ring to them. My pal Katrink came up with the collection name and I didn't have to think at all! Yay!
On to the details!

HOMEMADE DEATH

|
Homemade Death |
Homemade Death is a violet-gray with blue and pink shimmer.
This shadow is very smooth, and immensely pigmented. On skin the gray color is more prominent, making the shade a bit more brown.
Like with other shimmery MPZ shadows, the glitter does fall out a bit as the day goes on. If you use a primer there will still be bits of glitter at the end of the day, but certainly not as much as there was when you first put it on.
Similar: Candied Violet from Too Faced Chocolate Bar, slightly darker with more noticeable pink glitter.

Blue Fungus on Corpses |
Blue Fungus on Corpses is a gray-blue with blueish green shimmer. On skin it looks more like a dark, swampy green.
This isn't as smooth as Homemade Death, but it is still easily blendable and feels nice on your eyelids. The shimmer situation is the same as Homemade Death.
Similar: De la Mer from Too Faced À La Mode Eyes, darker, less shimmery and more bluish.

"And the award for Most Shocking Eyeshadow Name goes to..."
Demons are my Bitches is a milky white matte shade with light white-blue shimmer.
This shadow isn't very opaque, which makes it great for layering over other colors to lighten them up. I haven't noticed much shimmer fallout from this shadow.
Similar: Champagne Truffle from Too Faced Chocolate Bar, more purple, less glitter; White Chocolate from Too Faced Chocolate Bar, matte with no shimmer; matte white from Lorac afterGLO, matte with no shimmer, slightly blue-toned; Polyester Bride from Urban Decay Ammo, very similar.
This is the most pigmented out of all of the shadows. It looks on skin just as it does in the jar. The shimmer is so light that it is difficult for me to tell if it falls out throughout the day or not.
Similar: 2nd color from e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow Palette in California, identical except for green shimmer.
This is such a smooth, heavily pigmented satiny color. It is shiny and opaque and the color is just gorgeous.
Similar: Mildew from Urban Decay Ammo Palette, darker and less satiny.

CONCLUSION
There are definitely some good shadows here, my favorites are In Rust, Demons are my Bitches and Homemade Death. Noxious Agents is a lovely color, but I already own UD's Mildew which is just too similar to me.
I'm not sure if this was coincidence or on purpose, but there are quite a few shades here that are similar to Too Faced shades. They aren't identical, of course, just close enough that you wouldn't need the other if you already had one. If you could choose between MPZ's and TF's, I'd go with MPZ because of the quality and price.
The shadows in this collection are all nice on their own merits, but together they just don't seem to mesh. I think that it is worth it to buy this collection if you like at least 4/5 shadows, but it is my no means a must-have.
