Moon Child is an intense, nearly matte magenta-purple.
It feels very silky at first application. Eventually it does dry down a bit, but never stops being lightly moisturizing.
It lasts a very long time. It does stain, which lasts an amazingly long time if you don't intentionally remove it. The stain is more of a pink, but is still a pretty color.
Moon Child isn't completely opaque, but doesn't need to be either. While I'm betting that you don't have naturally magenta lips, you probably do have at least slightly red-toned lips.

Cult Insomnia is a nearly matte mid-tone opaque true gray.
The formula is almost identical to Moon Child's, except that this formula is fully opaque. Too often odd lipstick colors are not fully opaque, leaving the hint of your natural lipcolor and (to me) ruining the effect. Also I often see odd lipsticks that slide around too much and need constant checking-up on. This is not one of those.
It lasts a long time and does eventually stain your lips. The stain isn't the most attractive look in the world, but you should be the judge of that.
CONCLUSION
Whether or not you like the colors I chose, the qualities of these are great. Insomnia Cosmetics offers other lovely colors as well, and I expect them to be of the same quality. You should certainly look into buying from them.
Love the review, I'm so glad I decided n ordered the cult Insomnia. By any chance was ur shipping fast or slow and did they provide u with a tracking number because I never got one.
