Our French Green Clay has enormous absorbent powers due to the constitution of its micro molecules. It literally "drinks" oils, toxic substances, and impurities from your skin. Its toning action stimulates the skin by bringing fresh blood to damaged skin cells, revitalizing the complexion, and tightening pores. French Green Clay is marvelous for helping to clear problem skin. Use it daily on trouble spots, or weekly as part of a complete facial treatment.

Everyone's seen someone with a classic avocado-green facial mask. As dumb as it sounds, the fact that I've never personally had an avocado-green facial was the main determiner for me buying this product.

It did not disappoint.

The facial comes in a powder form, an according to the recipe on the back of the jar you are supposed to mix it with water to make a paste. I found that the recipe given produced way too much product. My personal favorite mixture is 1tsp. of clay, 2tsp. of water. Feel free to shake things up, though.

Once you have the paste all mixed up it is easy to apply. It feels a little slippery and watery at first, but soon enough it'll harden up and not gloop all over your shirt. (Bet you didn't know that "gloop" was a verb.) As it says in the Etsy description, if you leave it on for long enough it will feel tight, stiff, and dry. It will make your skin feel a bit dry, but the feeling only lasts as long as you leave the clay on. After it dries you can look in the mirror and see where the clay has absorbed oil and pulled out comedones -- it's very satisfying.

Using warm water the clay came off very easily and left my skin feeling fresh. My skin definitely feels smoother and a lot cleaner, but currently I cannot speak of how the clay works over a long period of time.

CONCLUSION

Currently I'm in love with it. It's very nice and feels great, for a relatively cheap price. Throw in that it's all-natural and has only one ingredient and I'm itching to buy more skincare products from Glory Boon.
